| About Me: | I graduated from TCU with a degree as a registered nurse. I worked 37 years in area hospitals, 2 years in a Denver hospital,served as a post surgical director at Huguley, worked for a general surgeon, and my last job, case managed injured workers at Lockheed Martin. I had a fun and varied career. Ron and I have been married for the past 45 years, having met him shortly after graduating from high school. We married my junior year at TCU. Our first daughter was born the day I was to receive my nursing degree. Ron is a registered irrigation designer who has been with a landscape architectural firm since we married, 45 years ago in April. For fun, I like to write, read, and knit my own socks. Our son currently fixes fax and copy machines and has 2 children: Emily, 6 years old, and Georgia, 1 years old. Our daughter is an owner-operator, truck driver who drives the highways of Texas. We are looking forward to doing some traveling as we launch Ron's retirement this year, 2010, with a long awaited Norwegian cruise to Alaska in May. |
