| About Me: | After Paschal, I worked my way through TCU as a copywriter in the advertising department at Leonards Department Store. Then, it was four years in the Air Force, followed by nearly 40 [can it be that many?] as a copy editor at two major newspapers, college instructor in advertising and marketing, corporate trainer, writing teacher, and editor. Today, I am semi-retired . . . meaning that I do a lot of free work for my parish. I've been married to the same woman 31 years and got a "late start" as a parent [I was 41 when my son was born; my sister, PHS '64, is a grandmother!]. We have two children: John, 23, has a BA in International Studies from the University of Evansville [In] and is a first-year architecture student at the University of Houston; Susan, 21, is a senior sociology/anthropology major at Trinity University in San Antonio. |
